backside of the caliper. gotta love the sweet 2 piston design w/easy pull pads. you can sort of see the excess pad sitting above the rotor.

one of the caveats-the caliper sits farther out than on the MKIV. because of this, the pads are about 1/8" off the rotor. you can see the gap in swept area here.
